AFS - The Academy of Fashion Studies is the original pioneer in conducting Guidance Classes for preparation of the Entrance Exams of all National and Premium Institutes of Fashion, Art & Design viz., NIFT, NID, PEARL etc.as well as various Fashion courses.
AFS has accomplished faculty to teach subjects like English, Maths, Analytical Reasoning, Drawing, Fashion Drawing, Colouring & Design. Many of our teachers are alumni of NIFT, NID and Coll. of Art .Others are experienced postgraduates in English , Maths and Management.
At AFS, a student has access to a wide selection of Books, Periodicals + Documented extracts on Art, Design, Fashion Management ,Competitive English, Maths, Logical Reasoning, IT, Communication skills etc. The exhaustive study material provided for the Ent. Exams equips the student with a keen and wide understanding of Drawing & Design skills and sensibilities. AFS has also introduced a unique system of teaching Drawing through Computers.A live Internet connection helps students and teachers to access any information on the NET. AFS brings out its own current news journal,LOOK @ periodically. The director of the Academy, Mrs Neena Khanna conducts a number of Design classes in the I Level. She is a graduate in Illustrations from the J.J.School of Art, Mumbai and Institute of Home Economics, New Delhi. She is an award winning teacher, designer and a well-known Fashion Journalist. She has been writing on Fashion for all the major dailies and magazines including Hindustan Times and Times of India, Delhi since 1986.
